Restaurant in the Nikolaiviertel Berlin
The interior – Fischers Stube
When you enter the modern-maritime ambience of our cozy restaurant in Berlin Mitte, you pass the Captain’s Table – right in the Fischers Stube. The approximately 50 seats here are mainly divided between tables for 4 – some in booths – and tables for 8 to 16 people. The Fischer and his wife have already taken their regular places – from their corners they keep a watchful eye on what is happening around them.
Anyone looking to be close to Fischers Bar and want to dangle their legs a few centimeters above sea level in a convivial group of up to 16 people will be seated at the Captains Table. On the thick, heavy wooden planks of the high table, there is space for every dish, no matter how opulent.
Another high table in our Berlin fish restaurant is the Kitchens Table. As the name already suggests, this is right next to the open-plan „galley“ – the front is covered with Fischerkaten. From here you have a clear view of Fischers Smutjes and the preparation of the pangolins.
Right next door is the „Blaue Villa“. Two cozy booths with 6 and 8 seats each. Quiet, softly lit, and decorated entirely in the colors of the sea. In this way, our seafood creations can be enjoyed twice as much.
Wherever you find your place in Fischer & Lustig – we are sure that you will take home at least one great story…

Fischer’s courtyard garden
In the summer and autumn months, around 120 seats await fish gourmets, wine connoisseurs and connoisseurs in Fischer’s courtyard garden. It sits comfortably, quietly and historically under old linden trees and large umbrellas that protect against a little rain. Especially in the evening, when the candles are lit on the tables, the light balls cast a warm tone over the courtyard and the towers of the Nikolaikirche – just a stone’s throw away – look down on you, you can dine like a king in one of Berlin’s most extraordinary restaurants. In the autumn months, cozy blankets, patio heaters and Fischer’s pear schnapps ensure a warm welcome and stay.
